Terms and ConditionsTerms and ConditionsUse of Rentamatic.co.uk group of websites (including but not limited to Rentamatic.co.uk, ukhomes4rent.co.uk, ukhomes4rent.com, looking2rent.co.uk and rent-rent-rent.co.uk) is subject to the following terms and conditions and your usage of said websites indicates your absolute acceptance of these conditions : 1. Title 1a. These terms and conditions constitute your entire agreement with Rentamatic.co.uk with respect to your use of any part of the Rentamatic.co.uk site and by accessing the site you are deemed to have agreed to these terms. 1b. Any changes to these terms will be published on this page and your continued use of the site following the publication of any changes to these terms will constitute your full agreement to any such changes to these terms. 1c. It is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you check this page each time you access this site to ensure that you are aware of any changes to these terms. 1d. Access and use of this site is governed by English law and you hereby agree to be bound by the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 1e. All images and text are the copyright of Rentamatic.co.uk and may not be copied, sold, lent or distributed without the express permission of Rentamatic.co.uk. 2. Advertising and Usage 2a. Users of the site may publish details of properties on the site by the completion of various online forms. This process is automatic and Rentamatic.co.uk does not and cannot review every property description published in this way. Accordingly Rentamatic.co.uk cannot and does not warrant the truth or accuracy of any property description, which is the sole responsibility of the person who submitted the property details. 2b. You may not advertise anything other than property details on the site without prior permission in writing from Rentamatic.co.uk. 2c. By submitting details for publication on the site you warrant that this will not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietorial rights or contain libellous or otherwise unlawful material. You hereby indemnify Rentamatic.co.uk and all its officers, employees and agents harmless from and against any and all liability and costs incurred in connection with any claim arising out of any breach by you of the foregoing warranties and covenants. You shall co-operate as fully as reasonably required in the defence of any claim. Rentamatic.co.uk reserves the right to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. 2d. You shall not upload to, distribute or otherwise publish through the site any material which is defamatory, libellous, obscene, pornographic, abusive, racist, sexist or in any other way offensive or illegal. Rentamatic.co.uk reserves the right to delete or edit anything which, at its sole discretion, it deems in breach of this term. 2e. Information published on the site by Rentamatic.co.uk is intended as general guidance only and no responsibility is accepted for any loss or injury sustained as a result of acting on the guidance contained on the site. 2f. The site contains links to other Internet sites and resources. Rentamatic.co.uk is not responsible for either the availability or the content of these outside resources. 2g. Rentamatic.co.uk may from time to time provide additional services on a fee paying basis. The provision of these services is subject to these terms and conditions and may also be subject to additional terms and conditions. Any additional terms and conditions which relate to these additional services will be notified to the user prior to commencement of the services. 2h. Rentamatic.co.uk does not warrant that access to the site is free of faults and Rentamatic.co.uk has no liability in the event that the site is or ceases to be available whether arising from the negligence of Rentamatic.co.uk or otherwise. 2i. Access to various parts of the site's facilities is controlled by passwords, which are selected by the user. You are responsible for the security of your password and for all usage of the site by any third party using your password with your authority. You shall notify Rentamatic.co.uk as soon as possible of any known or suspected unauthorised use of your password or the theft or unauthorised disclosure of your password. 2j. We reserve the right to change advert layout and content, and the design of the Rentamatic site, without notice. However, changes to advert content will only be made when absolutely necessary. 2k. Animated graphics may not be used in adverts. Advertisers who repeatedly upload animated graphics may have their account removed, and their advert removed, without refund. 3. Rentamatic payment policy 3.1 Adverts on Rentamatic.co.uk are sold on an annual basis. Payment is taken immediately using PayPal.com, or by 7 day invoice, at advert signup and again at the end of each annual contract period, on a rolling basis. Your annual contract begins at the advert creation date. 4. Uploading Photographs 4a. Your registration may allow you to upload photographs to the Rentamatic website. These photographs must be views of the internal or external aspects of the property to which they are attached and must not include any additions, for example text, icons or logos. They must be static images. Animated graphics may not be used in adverts. Any breach of this condition may lead to the removal of your account, your adverts and your photographs with no refund for any services you may have paid for. 4b. By virtue of uploading the photograph you assume all responsibility for copyright of the photograph you have choosen to upload and you fully indemnify Rentamatic.co.uk against any claim by any third party including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietorial rights or contain libellous or otherwise unlawful material. You hereby indemnify Rentamatic.co.uk and all its officers, employees and agents harmless from and against any and all liability and costs incurred in connection with any claim arising out of any breach by you of the foregoing warranties and covenants. Provision of services promised 5.1 You must be able to provide the services that you advertise. We reserve the right to remove adverts, without refund, of advertisers who are not competent in the provision of the services they advertise, who make false claims, break Advertising Standards Authority codes or break any other applicable regulation or law. 6. Rentamatic does not endorse advertisers 6.1 Rentamatic accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, or otherwise, of adverts in the Rentamatic directory and in no way endorses any of the advertisers. 7. Privacy policy 7.1 We take your privacy seriously. By using Rentamatic, you're trusting us to treat any information you give us with respect. We hate spam: we will not pass your email address, or other details, outside of the Rentamatic group of websites without your permission. 7.2 Our cookies expire after the session or within 1 day (24 hours) : we don't track your use of Rentamatic, with long-term cookies. 7.3 We only collect necessary information: the details you give us are what we need to provide the Rentamatic service. 7.4 We believe in security: Rentamatic.co.uk is hosted in a secure data centre. We use SSL 128-bit secured connections where appropriate and ensure access to your information is only granted to fully trained Rentamatic team members. 7.5 Information we collect : To enable you to use the Rentamatic service, we need to collect specific information from you. The information we need depends on the type of Rentamatic user you are. 7.6 We do not set persistent cookies when you use Rentamatic.co.uk unless you choose a "remember me" option on logging in. Normally we set standard session cookies, which are destroyed when your session ends. You cannot be identified as a result of browsing the Rentamatic.co.uk website. 7.7 We do monitor site traffic and anonymous user browsing habits. We may choose to share this information with third parties. However, you cannot be identified by this information. 7.8 Rentamatic Members : To publish your advert on Rentamatic, we need to collect information about your business and the services you wish to advertise. When you register as a Rentamatic Member, we request your name, address, phone number and other relevant details. All the information collected during sign up, except the details shown in your advert, will be kept private. 7.9 Your payment details : If you advertise on the Rentamatic website we will take payment through either Paypal.com, Worldpay.com, or by cheque. We will not take credit/debit card details as part of the Rentamatic advert signup process or membership registration process, nor will we request them by email. Please only make payments on receipt of invoice or through your member's area 7.10 We don't sell your information. We will not sell your information to anyone. We may email or write to you, to let you know about offers from Rentamatic. 7.11 Accessing and altering information we hold on you. You can view and alter your account details, through your Member's area, or by contacting us by email. 7.12 If you would like to view all the information we hold about you, please email us with your full account details. Please note: we make an administration charge for this service. 7.13 Disclosure of your information by court order or other legal obligation : We will disclose your information to a law enforcement agency, if we are legally required to do so.
